From loom to you

Made slowly, on purpose.

It starts on a loom

Yarn is woven by hand, a few metres at a time, so the cloth keeps the small irregularities a machine would iron out.

Touch the cloth

Four crafts, up close.

Pick a craft to unroll its fabric, then drag to turn it in the light.

Tiny points of cloth are pinched and tied with thread before the fabric meets the dye. Untied, they leave constellations of dots in the colour the cloth started with.
